One of the most acclaimed studios of India , 'Famous Studios' is hiring talented artists for its VFX division.

Following are the Posts that they are recruiting for :

Animator - 3 years experience animating props, characters and camera layouts in Maya. Knowledge of additional software would be a plus point.

Lighting artist - 3 years experience with Maya and mental ray rendering techniques, ability to setup shaders and render layers / Passes . Knowledge of additional renders such as Vray, Renderman would be an added advantage.

Nuke Compositor - Experience with 3d Compositing using Nuke. Knowledge of Nuke plugins is a plus point.

Dynamics artist - 3 Experience working on a project using Maya Fluids, Particles and Dynamics. Knowledge of additional software's such as Real Flow, 3ds Max(Fume fx), Houdini would be a plus point.

Roto Artist - Senior
MPC is a world leading visual effects and animation facility based in Soho, central London. 

Overview

The main task for Rotoscope artists is to roto 2D digital plates, as well as create mattes for the Compositing Department. Artists will be required to use Silhouette for roto, Nuke for compositing, and Boujou, Mocha, and Maya for tracking. 

As a Senior Level Roto Artist, you should produce accurate mattes quickly, be able to assess shots, and know what questions to ask if needed. Leading on individual shots involves delegating amongst different artists, providing detailed explanations on what is needed, and pulling the various pieces back together to be published. 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• Knowledge of Nuke and basic knowledge of Unix. 
• Ability to roto in Silhouette, and import tracks from Boujou and other programs 
• A strong eye for detail and precision. 
• Ability to organize your time, collaborate and effectively communicate with your supervisors and team mates, and be able to take direction. 
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to deliver on schedule while working under pressure if required.

Primary Responsibilities
• Preparation of mattes for compositing. 
• Composite mattes and check work, using Shake or Nuke
• Publishing files on line with proper naming conventions
• Find the info needed for the HUB or the compositor
• Learning Mocha, Boujou, Maya trackers, and Nuke tracking
• Helping to teach junior Roto Artists

Roto/Prep Artist – Senior

MPC is a world leading visual effects and animation facility based in Soho, central London. 

Overview

Paint/Prep Artists prepare 2D digital plates for compositing. Typical tasks range from wire and rig removal, cleaning greenscreens, through to plate recreation. Artists employ various techniques including compositing, painting, and projecting.
Senior Paint/Prep Artists should be extremely adept in rotoscope and paint/prep, generating work quickly and accurately. Artists can assess a prep shot to understand all that is required, the proper tools/software to implement the work, and accurately assess the length of time necessary to generate high quality work. Senior Paint/Prep Artists are expected to train junior artists, write tutorials, brief shots for outsource facilities, and check work for accuracy and quality. Artists at this level may be involved in bidding sequences with show leads, and manage delegation of large amounts of shots amongst artists.

Mid and Senior level Matchmove Artists

The Matchmove artist is responsible for reproducing the geometry, camera movement and object movement of a live-action shot in a 3D environment. 

Knowledge and Experience:
• Minimum 1 year production experience.
• Must be proficient in: Maya, Boujou, 3dequalizer/MayaLive. 
• Knowledge of Shake and tracking in Shake an advantage. Experience with other tracking software (eg. Matchmover) taken into account. 
• Must have experience of software based object tracking, and 3D rotoscoping of a digital model to a live action background. 
• Must be able to model and manipulate geometry for scene reconstruction and to aid tracking.
• Candidates should demonstrate a good eye for detail and precision, and have a solid understanding of camera moves & filming techniques.


Match Move Lead 

Job Responsibilities
• S/he will handle a team of MM & Roto artist.
• Will be responsible for not only the team’s delivery but his/her own as well. 
• Would function in a support capacity and assist the team with the isolation and resolution of technical & creative issues.
• Participate in and run meetings, reviews, and planning as part of effective communication with the team.
• Inspire, motivate, and mentor other artists in best practices, processes, and procedures pertaining to production.
• Work closely with the production team in creating schedules.

Desired Candidates Profile 
• Should have been working in a Leads capacity.
• Should be able to handle both Matchmove & Roto.
• Should have very strong hands on experience in Matchmove using Boujou and/or 3DEqualizer along with Maya and have a fair knowledge of Roto.
• Should have a good technical knowhow. 
• Should have good written & spoken English.



Production Assistant / Production Coordinator

Job Description
• Data Analysis, Client Relationship, Requirement Analysis, Proposal Drafting & production Management.
• Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for projects from the client and update them on the projects. 
• Making Proposals: Efforts Estimation & Time Estimation
• Manage client’s account starting from production initiation till project delivery.
• Responsible for production documentation.
• Execution of production schedule as per customize specifications.
• Serve as the single point of contact between the artists and other team leaders and producers. 
• Work with team leads for the preparation of the production schedule and monthly progress report.
• Oversees the work of all managed staff to ensure all shots are properly executed according to the general specifications and requirements.
• Review evaluation & provides recommendations for the material submittals.
• Provide accurate data on the plan and performance on the project.
• Ensure that the necessary time is worked for the position and where extra time to meet deadlines.
• Attend & provide solutions to production meetings related on all production concerns.
• Coordination with Team leads & Artists for getting required working details
• Must be able to work cooperatively with others and accept direction from supervisors / managers.
• Coordinates with the producer for all incoming and outgoing correspondence related to technical implementation
• Coordinates with the producer for all production related issues and detail scope of works as per client’s requirement. 
• Track, coordinate, implement and resolve all identified technical issues related to production and ensure that production milestones and timelines are met. 
• Maintaining the daily progress report and weekly progress report to ensure work timely executive of work
• Project handover to the concerned department after the completion of the same.
• Ensure projects are estimated accurately and delivered on time
• Follows and enforces all policies and procedures.
• Performs other related responsibilities as requested.


Desired Candidate Profile
• Excellent oral, written communication and negotiation skills
• Should have good business acumen
• Should have exp. in production management.
• Good in client servicing and convincing power.
